The Saints were a New Orleans band that was formed in 1964. They started out playing in local bars and clubs and in 1965 they released their first album “The Saints Rock and Roll,” which included popular songs like “I’m Losing More Than I’ll Ever Have” and “Don’t Let The Good Times Pass You By.” The song “I’m Losing More Than I’ll Ever Have” is still considered to be one of the most influential songs of the time period.
In 1968, the band released their second album “Eternally Yours,” which included tracks such as “I Found Grace” and “Walk Away Renee.” After releasing these albums, they made an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. They were also selected to play with Elvis Presley at his Las Vegas.
In the Christian religion, a saint is a person who has been recognized as having an exceptional degree of holiness or likeness to God. In various religious traditions, saints are people who have been recognized as being particularly holy or emulatable for some admirable quality, deed, or manifestation of God’s will.
The word saint originates in Ancient Greek and means holy one. Though the English word “saint” carries a variety of meanings depending on its historical context and usage within different religions, it usually refers to a person who is sanctified by a religion and canonized by a church for their holiness without reference to any specific deeds they performed during life. The saints lived in a time when there was no hope for the future. They lived in a time of tragedy and violence, and they were able to rise above it all.
A few centuries ago, there were many saints who helped people during difficult times. And they did so by showing us the strength we already have inside of ourselves, and how we can use it to make our world a better place.
